Public Show Hours
The North American Lily Society invites you to come and view our 59th
Annual Lily Show.
The formal judging of the lily show will be in progress on Friday morning,
July 14, 2006. Once the judging has been completed, the showroom doors
will be opened, and the excitement of seeing the wide array of entries
shall begin. Because the stems will arrive from diverse growing zones,
you may expect to see many varieties of lilies, all in bloom at the time
of the event. We expect the early blooming martagon lilies along with
asiatics, trumpets, orienpet (OT trumpet/oriental hybrids) and later
blooming orientals. You'll see wild species as well as the latest
hybrid seedlings.
If you haven't been to a NALS show before, you'll be amazed at the
colorful display of lilies with which you'll be greeted. Best of all,
most of these lilies will grow in your own garden here in the midwest!
Society members will be on hand to answer your questions about the show
and about growing lilies.
