1. Participants
   The photo contest is open to NALS members as will as non-members. All photos must prominently feature "true" lilies (genus Lilium).

2. Contest Divisions
   1. Competition Division
      This division is open to amateur photographers only. Photos may be of a single lily floret or multiple florets, a single specimen lily plant or multiple plants grouped in a flowerbed. Close-ups are acceptable as long as the photo clearly depicts the subject as a member of the genus Lilium.

      Judging will take place by ballots cast by Lily Show visitors. Ribbons will be awarded for the 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place. In addition to winning a ribbon, the 1^st place photo will receive a "People's Choice Photo" award. Ballots will be counted Saturday, July 15, at 3:15pm.

      There is a limit of two photos per participant in this Division.

   2. Exhibition Division
      This division is open to amateur and professional photographers. Entries will not be judged, no ribbons or prizes will be awards. Photos that have won a ribbon in prior NALS Photo Contests may be entered in the Exhibition Division only.

      There is a limit of two photos per participant in this Division.

3. Entry information
   1. Photos must be 8"x10" or 8-1/2"x11" in size, and must be mounted on 1/8" or 1/4" thick cardboard, poster board, or foam board of the same size as the photo.

   2. The back of the photo must contain the following printed information
      1. The name of the entrant, address and phone number, and email when available.
      2. The Division the photo is to be entered in (e.g. Competition)
      3. The name of the subject lily or lilies ("Unknown Lily" or "Lilies" is acceptable).

   3. The NALS Show Committee has the right to place photos in the most appropriate Division, or to refuse displaying a photo altogether.

   4. Participants retain all legal rights to their photos, but grant NALS permission to use entered photos for NALS related educational and promotional purposes such as the NALS web site, NALS written publications, etc.

   5. Participants may pick up their photos as the end of the Lily Show. Photos not picked up will become property of the North Americial Lily Society's Library.
